Home??? Child Care Center???

October 30th, 2007 by amelia87

Everyday when i return home, i always have the feeling of entering into a child care center.

How i wish after a tired day in school, i can get the peaceful, quiet, relax home waiting for me to return.  Even at nite i dun feel i’m at home.

Sometimes i do really enjoy the time when i’m travelling. I prefer the hotel room so much so much more then my room…erm.. room that does not really belong to me.

Most of the time i realli do not wan to return. I rather stay in the bus for longer. I find that in the bus is the only time where i can really rest.

For now, i can only pray that i will be able to have a hse of my own. Work hard… Earn more…

I’m sick n angry

October 25th, 2007 by amelia87

I’m really sick… i need rest.. but when will i be able to get a good rest. Comin to think of it… home is the place where we can really get our rest and relax ourselves but that is not always the case. Well.. not in my case.

I really cant understand why are those people not in fault always get the scolding, nagging and responsibility. Why cant she just voice out to everyone that she is tired and do not want to take care of kids anymore. Why do she have to vent her anger on people who are innocent.

Realli cant understand why a mother can just neglect her own daughter. In the 1st place why she give birth to her and yet dun treasure her.

Can these people PLEASE take up your own responsibility
Can You stop getting innocent people involve.. Look for the rite target
Can i have a place to REST…. I really need it badly… T.T

China Trip 22/9-26/9

September 27th, 2007 by amelia87

This trip is not too bad yet not too good as well. We arrived in Xiamen at around 1+ and the tour guide (Xiao Lee), which so happen to be the same guide as my last year trip, picked us up from the airport and we depart to JiMei University where there is a memoral hall for Mr Tan Kah Kee.

On the 2nd day of the trip, we head to Nan Pu Tou Shi in the morning and this is the 1st time i climbed to a higher part of the temple. When i was waiting at the meeting point, my bag happen to be resting  on a bench that have bird drops. Without knowing, i stained my pants.

After lunch, we went to Gu Lang Yu. I love the place and i was hoping to visit the piano museum again. But some of the aunties in my group was too tired so we did not make a trip there. But i got to try the most famous muachi while those aunties shop for those dried seafood.

Returning to the mainland, we went to a Taibet medical shop which is compulsory for the tour and had some foot massage.

The next morning, we depart from the Hotel at 8.30 and proceed to my relative place in Hu Tou. As i’m the youngest among the group, i have to help them arrange the room and help them out. I enjoyed going there and i always feel the warmth when i’m there. They treat me like close relative and i feel that i’m a part of them.

I enjoyed those delicious food, especially the lunch that my 伯母 cooked for me. It is really home cooked food. It is really sad to say farewell. I can feel my tears rolling in my eyes.

When we reached airport, the scary part begin. 2 of the people in the my group was not able to check in. The airline did not confirm their ticket properly. Luckily, when the time reached, there were still empty seats available. When we touched down in Singapore, 1 of the auntie package went missing. Luckily we managed to get it back today. Anyway, it was really an experience that i do not know whether is a good or bad want.

Days in Malacca

September 3rd, 2007 by amelia87

Departed from Singapore on 27Aug morning. It took us around 4hrs to reach Malacca and there after, Ms Chan from Cubic Learning took us to our Hotel at Seri Malaysia. It was just a very short break for us to place our stuff into the rooms and off we go to Cubic Learning Factory. Over there, we got a welcome msg and a brief descirption on what will be covered through these 7 days. Then we return to our Hotel for a short rest before we head for our dinner at a Peranakan restaurant. 3The food there was delicious and when i entered the shop it makes me think of my grandparents house. hehe.

On the 2nd day, it was class for Manufacturing Management. We get to learn how a product is being manufuctured and walk through the production line to have a clearer view. For dinner, we went to a Nasi Lemak shop to have fried frice with chicken. The rice so delicious. It is fried with green chilli and the chicken is marinated with some kind of source that makes me drool. Malacca_riverAfter dinner, we head down to Malacca River for night walk. To me i think that the river do not really look like a river. It is more like drain to me. :X We were being invited to a Dutch shop and the owner was very friendly. He bring us on a tour around his shop and provide us with all the knowledge of Dutch that he have.

On the 3rd day, we visited Mahkota Medical Center. 4We had a tour around the hospital and the marketing staff over there were very nice. They bring us around and even get a free consultation from the doctor for one of the girl in our group. After the morning tour, we went for Chicken_rice_ball_1chicken rice. The rice is realli nice and bouncy..

AirplaneThere after, we travelled to CTRM where we get to know how parts of the air craft is being made. It is realli an eye opener for me. It was realli tirring having to tour around and therefore, we return to our hotel for a short nap before heading for dinner at Duyong which was just at the sea side. The Ikan Bakar was delicious. I even packed back to the Hotel to enjoy it better.

8On the 4th day of our trip, which is the day that we have been looking for have arrived. There were many site viewing of those historical places in Malacca. That is how we spend our morning and we visited a shop that is round the corner to have our lunch, nonya laksa. We proceed to the Visit on Bird’s nest and we get to view a in-house bird’s nest, where there are lots of nest and of cos, having a bowl of refreshing bird’s nest. Then we depart to A’fomosa for Dinner and to the Cowboy Town. When we reach Cowboy Town, we headed for the Red Indian Show and followed by animal show. Img038During the interval, i took picture with a parrot and at the same time being frigten by tiger. I went totally wake and cant control my tears… so shameful… Then i have to keep hiding away to make sure that i was not near to any tiger. Then we walk around taking 2pictures to pass the time while waiting for the countdown to Medaka. We were there till around 12+.

The next day, all of us woke up late and the day starts in the noon. We had lessson on Product Realization then we went to Medan Samudera for Souveniors. Over there it is just like our wet market. All the stores there were selling almost similar things and then we went to an air-condition shopping mall, Dataran Palawan, for more shopping. For dinner, each of us were given RM15 to buy watever food that we want from the newton food court.

The day before we depart, we had lesson on Quality Management. The lesson last for a day an all of us were feelin extremly tired. Luckily there were more shopping at Jonker Walk at nite. We experience the day and nite Jonker Walk. Ms Chan also bring me to a Italian restaurant, Coconut House, for pizza… Due to time, we packed it back to our hotel.

Just a glance, 7 days have past. We had a debrief session at cubics and we were askin Ms Chan to give us a speech on her reflection of us through out this 7 days but she was afraid that she get too emotional she did not dare to say. And finally we are leaving Malacca back to Singapore.

I do miss Malacca for all the fun shopping and delicious food. Hope to be there soon.

Days In China (16-08-07 to 19-08-07)

August 21st, 2007 by amelia87

This is my 3rd time visiting my relative in China. But this time i have experienced more and gain more on their culture.

I arrived in Xiamen Airport at ard 11.45 and my cousins friend were there waiting for us. Then we took those 10 seaters bus into my cousin’s place.

We arrived around 3+ then we took a short rest. There after, we help out in the making of the "tang yuan".

That nite after dinner, my niece which was around my age drove me out. We went to the nite market and into a bubble tea shop. There were 4 of us and each of us ordered a drink and some snacks. It was really cheap. We only spend RMB23(ard S$5) for all the drinks and food. After that, we went to the moutain top to watch stars… They told me that it have been raining for days and it was on that day when i arrived the rain stopped. Thats y i’m so lucky to be able to see all the stars. AND i saw FIREFLY… just ONE firefly that flew past me.

Back at their place, there were more toasting and preparation for the wedding. We helped to paste all the "喜喜" words ard the hse. I was back in my room at ard 2am then took a gd rest.

The next morning i woke up at 6am and i witness the wedding ceremony. I managed to film how the bride enter the house and lighting the fire crackers to welcome her in. She was not allowed to leave the room until a certain time.

When noon arrived, there were banquet held to invite all the relatives. The bridegroom have to carry a tray of tea and the bride a tray of candies for the guest at every table. This is what i have never saw in S’pore b4. Furthermore, they have a total of 18 dishes for a meal. That was really alot.

After the lunch we manage to have some photographing sessions. We took some picture and chat then went for a short rest to prepare for the dinner banquet.

I helped the bride dress up and do some touch-up for her make-up. Then she have to stand at the entrance to welcome the guest with a tray of cigrattes. Really very interesting. When almost all the guest have arrived, we hurried to change to another gown before she enter into the restaurant.

That nite there were lots n lots of toasting. Every 5min there will be people coming to my table to give toasting. I drank till i have a beer belly. OMG!!!!

Aft all the guest have left, i helped the bride out with her hair-do. which took us ard an hour to help her remove those pins and wash off all the spray n glitter.

The next day, we actually planned to get some stuff from the market street but there were tai feng..sob sob… so i did not manage to get anything. Nothing at all… I turn out learning how to play their poker. N thats how i spend my day there. But during the nite time, there were banquet as well. But this time the banquet were meant for thanking all those people who have helped out. This time there were ard 6 tables onli. Alot people were drunk and they were dancing ard.. Actually it is really fun watching ppl who r drunk :X

That nite i did not slp at all. I was chatting with them till morning where i have to leave their place. All of us were sad to say GoodBye.

It was a tirring journey but i enjoyed myself.

I really need support

July 2nd, 2007 by amelia87

Feelin terribly miserable now. It is so diff to get support from people especially from family. Why cant people understand how miserable i feel. I hate the way i am now. Feel a total lack of confident when i’m out of house.

I know that i’m not havin income but i will be working hard to earn the money. I do not mind having to work like everyday after school to earn the money for my decision.

I think that frenz are always more supportive and can understand me better. Mayb becos of age ba… they can understand my needs better compared to my family.
